Jetting Around Café is a series of international events for travelers and everyone interested in world cultures. Let's gather together over a glass of wine and share travel stories in a casual atmosphere! Previous meetups have taken place in North America and around Europe. Brought to you by Pola Henderson, founder of the travel blog Jetting Around.

Join us for a casual evening of travel and Paris talk with native Parisians, expats, and travelers. We are meeting at The Hood Paris, a coffee shop and neo-bistro in the 11th. The evening will feature shared plates by Khanh-Ly Huynh (winner of MasterChef France 2015), with craft beers and natural wines.

On s’assoit autour d’un verre et on partage des histoires, à la cool, dans la bonne humeur. Organisé par Pola Henderson, la fondatrice du blog Jetting Around.

Parlons de voyages et Paris en anglais et français avec des parisiens, des expats et des voyageurs. Nous nous retrouvons à The Hood Paris, un café et un néo-bistrot au 11ème. La soirée permettra de partager des plats de Khanh Ly Huynh (gagnante de MasterChef France 2015), ainsi que des bières artisanales et des vins bios.

What are Neighbours Nights?

Every Thursday night, we set up a communal dinner table so you can just grab any seat and say hi to a stranger! Come for our drinks, music, and apéro + dinner menu by MasterChef winner Khanh-Ly. Stay for the spontaneous conversations and serendipitous connections with your fellow neighbours!

🇬🇧 Organised in collaboration with jollyclick, this music date night will bring together musicians looking to make new connections, record an album, put a band together, or simply take part in an acoustic jam session. Musicians can bring their own instruments or use the piano, guitar, djembe, ukulele or mic the available at The Hood Paris.

Join us for an invigorating session to learn all about the taste and aroma of brewed coffee. Leading the workshop are two experts in the field, the co-owners of coffee shop/brewing workshop Hexagone Café (they'll be bringing us a selection of their coffee!) and authors of a handy guide to making great coffee: Chung-Leng Tran is a French-Vietnamese photographer-turned-barista and winner of France Brewers Cup 2012, and Sébastien Racineux is the founder of the barista academy Espressologie®, won the Tournoi Coutume in 2012 and placed 2nd at the France Brewers Cup in 2012 and 2014. In other words, they know their stuff!
